The Second Research Institute of CAAC (abbreviated as CAAC Second Research Institute) is a research institution in China dedicated to the application and development of high-tech innovations in civil aviation. Directly under the leadership of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, it is the oldest civil aviation technology group in the country, with the broadest scope of expertise and the longest integrated chain of industry, academia, research, and application.
