In recent years, with the continuous development of new quality productive forces and driven by both domestic policies and market dynamics, China's intelligent transportation industry has cultivated a range of independently innovative products and technologies. This has accelerated industrial transformation and ecosystem development, facilitating rapid upgrades within the sector. Meanwhile, against the backdrop of a booming global digital economy, international markets such as Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East are experiencing growing demand for intelligent iteration and infrastructure upgrades. This presents unprecedented opportunities for China's intelligent transportation industry to expand overseas. To promote multidimensional deepening and expansion in the domestic market and align with the continuous growth of international blue-ocean markets, the industry urgently requires a global platform for resource integration. Such a platform would help enterprises accurately reach frontline markets and achieve multi-modal complementarity between their technological and product strengths and domestic as well as international market demands.
Against this backdrop, the China International ITS Industry Expo 2026 (CITSE) was jointly initiated by the China Intelligent Transportation System Association (ITS China) and Xiamen Convention & Exhibition Group Inc., adhering to the principles of "high-level, internationalization, specialization, and market orientation." It aims to become a benchmark event in the intelligent transportation industry.
Guided by demand and application, CITSE features four thematic exhibition areas: Future Transportation, Comprehensive Multidimensional Transportation, Smart Urban Mobility, and Autonomous Driving Equipment and Intelligent System. These zones will collectively showcase innovative products, technologies, and solutions from renowned enterprises in the intelligent transportation sector worldwide. CITSE will invite leaders from departments of transportation, traffic management, and industry and information technology, as well as professionals from across the industry chain—including urban, highway, rail, waterway, aviation, automotive, municipal, and electronic information sectors—from various provinces, cities, autonomous regions, municipalities, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. Additionally, high-quality clients and professional visitors from overseas regions such as Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East will be welcomed to visit and exchange insights, sharing in the vast opportunities of the intelligent transportation market.
