Exhibitor Profile | China Railway Signal & Communication Co.,Ltd.

2026-06-09

Founded in 1953, China Railway Signal & Communication Co.,Ltd. (CRSC) is one of China’s earliest specialized railway enterprises. As a large central enterprise directly supervised by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, it has developed into a high-tech industrial group featured with intelligent control technologies and a world-leading provider of rail transit control systems.

Its subsidiary, China Railway Signal & Communication Co.,Ltd., was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2015. In 2019, it became the first central enterprise to be listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, making it the first large central enterprise with A+H dual listings. In 2020, it entered the ranks of central enterprises with total assets exceeding 100 billion yuan for the first time. Currently, the Group comprises 18 major secondary subsidiaries and employs more than 20,000 staff members.

As the designated authority responsible for formulating equipment specifications, technical standards and product standards for China’s rail transit control systems, CRSC boasts a complete industrial chain integrating engineering design for rail transit communication and signaling, R&D of signal equipment for the "three-control" system (network control, space-time control and train control), and engineering technical services. It undertakes the construction of communication and signaling standards at national, industrial and association levels. The Group has established 10 national-level innovation platforms, 3 national railway engineering research centers and 43 provincial and ministerial-level innovation platforms.

It has built up the technical standard system for China’s rail transit communication and signaling, as well as a mature and comprehensive high-speed railway technology system covering trains of different speed classes. Having fully mastered eight core technologies of rail transit operation and control systems with complete independent intellectual property rights, CRSC has driven the historic transformation of China’s rail transit control technologies — from scratch to maturity, from weakness to strength, and from external reliance to full independence and world-class leadership.

Embarking on a new journey in the new era, CRSC keeps firmly in mind the new missions and tasks entrusted to central enterprises by the Party Central Committee. It fully implements the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and follows the "1241" work philosophy to accelerate industrial restructuring and upgrading.

Targeting the development of major national sophisticated equipment in the field of intelligent control, the Group leverages its strengths in intelligent control technologies to expand the industrial model of "Intelligent Control + N". It focuses on two core business tracks: rail transit and low-altitude economy**, and develops four major intelligent businesses including intelligent rail transit, intelligent low-altitude economy, smart city and intelligent operation.

CRSC speeds up the development of intelligent terminal equipment. Empowered by digital and intelligent technologies, it further consolidates and upgrades the advantages of the full "three-in-one" industrial chain for rail transit, and fully shapes the industrial pattern of "three businesses and one ecosystem" featuring low-altitude airspace management, UAV manufacturing and service & operation to foster a second growth curve. The Group strives to fulfill the three key roles of central enterprises, act as a pacesetter in three fields, and better fulfill its mission of supporting and serving major national strategies.
