Official Announcement: Malaysia Official Procurement Delegation Joins CITSE 2026
Malaysia’s national-level intelligent transportation procurement delegation has officially confirmed its participation in China International ITS Industry Expo 2026 (CITSE 2026). The high-profile delegation comprises core government bodies including Malaysia’s Ministry of Works, Public Works Department (JKR), and Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM), alongside leading ITS enterprises such as Recogine and DYNAMIC TRAFFIC SYSTEM SDN. BHD. ITS Malaysia and University of Malaya will also join in the whole events, covering policy, procurement, technology, engineering and R&D.

Malaysia is accelerating the adoption of intelligent transportation technologies and digital infrastructure management to upgrade its national highway network, shifting from traditional road expansion to data-driven, integrated and efficient traffic management for smarter, safer, more efficient and sustainable infrastructure.
The delegation’s key demands cover: intelligent signal control systems, AI traffic monitoring & incident detection, MLFF free-flow tolling, smart parking, rail transit systems, smart street lamps, traffic hardware and more. China’s intelligent transportation industry features a fully independent, large-scale verified and cost-effective supply chain that fully matches these needs.

To facilitate efficient matchmaking, CITSE 2026 will host a Malaysia Special Demand Matching Session with policy briefings, official procurement list releases and face-to-face negotiations to support localized adaptation and long-term O&M of Chinese solutions in Malaysia.
Under the theme “Focus on Industrial Innovation and Transformation, Empower the Construction of the Overseas Expansion Ecosystem”, CITSE builds a precise and practical platform linking global resources. Enterprises in intelligent transportation, autonomous driving, rail transit, smart highways, new energy mobility, charging infrastructure, smart O&M and IoT can connect with global buyers without high cross-border costs.
