Exhibitor Highlight | CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd. Unveils the New Generation "YiQun" Intelligent Rapid Transit at CITSE 2026!

CHINA INTERNATIONAL ITS INDUSTRY EXPO 2026 (CITSE for short) centers on the core theme of “Focusing on Industrial Innovation and Transformation, Empowering the Development of Global Outreach Ecosystem”. It will be grandly held at Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center(XICEC) from May 13 to 15, 2026.

Gathering cutting-edge intelligence, leading transportation transformation. As a core flagship activity of CITSE 2026, the New Product Launch will provide an authoritative platform for global enterprises to make world premieres and debuts. It will showcase cutting-edge innovative technologies and solutions in intelligent transportation fields, including AI+, digital highway collaboration, autonomous driving, traffic signal control systems, urban intelligent rapid transit, and transportation-energy integration, enabling face-to-face communication with potential customers and partners from around the world to explore cooperation opportunities.

This edition of the exhibition will welcome a star exhibitor to the Comprehensive Multidimensional Transportation Exhibition Area — CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd., presenting its new-generation "YiQun" intelligent rapid transit system.

CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CRRC Sifang) is a core subsidiary of CRRC Corporation Limited. It serves as China’s core R&D and manufacturing base for high-speed trains, a manufacturer of intercity, suburban and urban rail transit vehicles, and a major national export base for rail transit equipment.

CRRC Sifang is an industry leader in the R&D and manufacturing of high-speed EMUs, intercity and suburban EMUs, and urban rail vehicles. China’s first domestically built high-speed EMU, first exported high-speed EMU, first intercity-suburban EMU, and first China-standard metro train all originated here. At present, the company has developed a full series of high-speed EMUs and intercity-suburban EMUs covering various speed levels and meeting diverse operational requirements.

The CRH380A high-speed EMU independently developed by the company set a world record of 486.1 km/h in railway operation tests. The Fuxing CR400AF EMU operates at a commercial speed of 350 km/h, making China the country with the highest high-speed rail commercial operation speed in the world. The EMUs designed and manufactured for the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Rail marked a historic breakthrough for China’s high-speed trains going global. The 600 km/h high-speed maglev transportation system, led and developed by the company, has been successfully rolled off the production line. The company offers a full spectrum of urban rail transit vehicle products and can provide customers with customized solutions.

New Generation "YiQun" Intelligent Rapid Transit

The new-generation "YiQun" Intelligent Rapid Transit is an electronically guided rubber-tyred vehicle system. It is China’s first electronically guided rubber-tyred vehicle technology platform certified with L2 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) functions, as well as China’s first intelligent driver cockpit platform of its kind.

· The vehicle realizes integrated perception and positioning through Beidou satellite navigation, vision sensing, inertial navigation and other technologies. Combined with real-time vehicle attitude data, it achieves train trajectory prediction and automatic path tracking via end-to-end autonomous driving technology.

·

· Train length: 30m; maximum passenger capacity: 280 persons; maximum operating speed: 70km/h; maximum climbing capacity: 130‰.

·

· The running gear adopts a double-wishbone independent suspension structure with strong anti-roll performance, which effectively absorbs vibrations caused by road irregularities. The train ride comfort meets the "Excellent" grade standard of GB5599.

·

· The train adopts a distributed drive design with permanent magnet in-wheel motors, which effectively reduces passenger compartment noise while delivering energy-saving and emission-reduction benefits. A 3-car formation consumes only 3 kWh of electricity per kilometer.

·

· It can efficiently utilize urban road resources and features advantages such as fast approval, short construction period, low cost, easy route adjustment, large transport capacity and long service life. It can serve as a feeder line in megacities and large cities, a main line in small and medium-sized cities, as well as an urban tourist line.

This edition of the exhibition has newly planned themed exhibition zones including Future Transportation, Smart Urban Mobility, Autonomous Driving Equipment & Intelligent System, and Comprehensive Multidimensional Transportation, fully covering the entire industrial ecosystem of intelligent transportation and centrally showcasing advanced innovative products, technologies and solutions.

To experience the unique appeal of CRRC Sifang’s new-generation "YiQun" Intelligent Rapid Transit up close and explore cooperation opportunities face-to-face with CRRC Sifang’s technical team, visit us at Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center from May 13 to 15 and discover the highlights at the Comprehensive Multidimensional Transportation Exhibition Area of CITSE 2026.
